Artists Submission Guidelines

We are open to artists who are new to the market. We purchase artwork for the purpose of producing individually printed and hand-assembled fine art note cards.

Payment for artwork:
Rights and payment for images are negotiated. We generally pay $5 to $10 per image and/or 10% royalties and/or a quantity of finished cards, which are suitable for your portfolio, for marketing purposes or personal use. As additional compensation for rights to use your images, we may create a page on our web site providing internet exposure for your work, plus a link to your own web site. We offer inclusion of your biographical and contact information, if you so desire. You will receive artist's credit on the back of all cards for sale. You may reference your sale to us in your resume. You retain copyright along with all rights to resell your images.

Subjects:
Suggestions: botanicals, herbs, flowers, bugs, landscapes, chairs, animals, hats, garden themes, people, vehicles, architecture, dwellings, landmarks, still life, abstracts, etc. Please do not be limited by this list. Seasonal ideas are always welcome (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, Christmas). We encourage submissions in any medium. Don't feel limited by what currently appears on our site — if you like what you have, send it.

Special needs:
1) Botanicals including herbs, wildflowers, and garden themes.
2) We are seeking artwork in any medium for our Claremont, California collection. We are especially interested in work by artists who live, work or study in Claremont, or whose work depicts subjects, scenes, or themes which relate to Claremont. Student artwork is welcome.

Verse for cards:
Most of our cards will continue to be blank inside, as the images speak for themselves. Currently we are accepting only artwork for our note cards.

How to submit artwork:
Please send good quality copies of your work to the address below. Please do not send originals, as we cannot be responsible for them. If you prefer, you may submit by emailing a link to your web address (URL). When mailing copies, you may print and complete our artists submission form (optional).

Include your e-mail address or SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope) for our response. We respond in 6 weeks.
